* At 645 AM EDT/545 AM CDT/, severe thunderstorms capable of
producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 10
nm northeast of Mexico Beach to 16 nm west of Port St. Joe to 30 nm
southeast of Okaloosa Deep Water Reef, moving southeast at 60
knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels...and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life
jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34
knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and
heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life
jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Buckeye Reef, O Tower, S Tower, Empire Mica Wreck, Cape San Blas,
St George Island, K Tower, Port St. Joe, V Tower, Horseshoe Beach,
Apalachicola, C Tower, Marker 24 Barge, St. Marks, and Mexico
Beach.
