...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM CDT THIS MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes,
Beauregard and Vernon and southeast Texas, including the following
areas, Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton, Southern Jasper,
Southern Newton and Tyler.

* WHEN...From 6 AM CDT this morning through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of showers and storms are expected to develop
and move east across the region today and again Monday. Heavy
rainfall can be expected in some of the storms with average
totals between 2 and 4 inches. Training of storms could lead
to isolated higher totals of at least 6 inches or more. This
rainfall is expected across areas remain saturated from
previous rains over the 1 to 2 weeks, and additional rainfall
will likely runoff, creating a potential flood threat.
