locations in Indiana...Illinois...

Wabash River from Lafayette downstream to Mount Carmel, except for
Clinton.

White River at Edwardsport downstream to Hazleton.

.Main stems rivers in central and southern Indiana continue to work
at emptying last week's copious rainfall.  Flooding continues on the
Wabash River from Lafayette to Mount Carmel...except at Clinton
where flooding ended earlier today, and on the White River south of
Newberry. Flooding will last as long as mid week next week.

Dry weather through Monday will be conducive to the rivers
continuing their downfall.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Edwardsport.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Old Vincennes Road and residential
property in this area begin to flood.  Flooding of low
agricultural fields occurs along portions of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 PM EDT Friday /6:00 PM CDT Friday/ the stage was 16.4
feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 PM EDT Friday /6:00 PM CDT Friday/ was 20.2
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tonight and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Petersburg.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.3 feet, State Road 257 south of Washington began
to flood during May 2008 after local rains of more than an inch on
very wet soils with Petersburg at 21.3 feet and rising and Shoals
at 15.5 feet and rising.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 PM EDT Friday /8:30 PM CDT Friday/ the stage was 22.0
feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 PM EDT Friday /8:30 PM CDT Friday/ was 22.3
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.1
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage Monday afternoon.

the St. Francesville, Illinois area.  River Road from Lincoln
Memorial Bridge to Billett Rd is impassable.  Extensive seep water
forms behind Illinois levees extending from Russellville to U.S.
Highway 50.  Flooding of agricultural land begins in Knox County
Indiana west of the railroad extending for the Oaktown area to the
north side of Vincennes.  Extensive flooding of Small Creek.

- At 9:45 PM EDT Friday /8:45 PM CDT Friday/ the stage was 16.9
feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours

or township roads east of Lincoln Heritage Trail between Palestine
and Hutsonville in Crawford County Illinois are impassable.
