.Recent heavy rainfall in the Ohio River basin has caused minor
flooding.

For the Ohio River...including Newburgh Dam, Mount Vernon, J.T.
Myers Dam, Shawneetown...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at J.T. Myers Dam.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 40.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 41.2
feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage late Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
