...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR GIBSON, SPENCER AND WARRICK COUNTIES...

At 1018 AM CDT, The heaviest rainfall has ended across the area, but
flash flooding is already occurring with two day storm totals of 5
to 7 inches. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Princeton, Boonville, Newburgh, Oakland City, Rockport, Dale,
Lynnville, Grandview, Patoka, Folsomville, Eureka, Santa Claus,
Elberfeld, Chrisney, Francisco, Somerville, Tennyson, Gentryville,

At 951 AM CDT, The heaviest rainfall has ended for at least a few
hours. Radar and rain gauges estimate two day totals of 4 to 6
inches across the warned area. Spotters have already reported flash
flooding in the area and the water will likely be slow to recede.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and Storm Spotters.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Evansville, Carmi, Fort Branch, Grayville, Haubstadt, Owensville,
Poseyville, New Harmony, Crossville, Cynthiana, Griffin and

.Heavy rainfall Friday and Saturday has exacerbated ongoing flooding
along the lower Wabash River. Minor flooding is now expected to
continue through midweek.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flood waters begin to affect residents of
East Mt. Carmel, Indiana. Fifth Street that parallels river
closes.  Twin restaurant along the river also closes.  Several
local river roads flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:45 PM EDT Saturday /11:45 AM CDT Saturday/ the stage
was 20.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:45 PM EDT Saturday /11:45 AM CDT Saturday/ was
20.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.8
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

and Hazleton. Heavy rainfall from Friday night has prolonged the
flooding, with minor flood stage now expected through midweek.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Petersburg.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low bottomlands flood and flooding begins
on higher bottomlands.  State Road 257 may begin to flood if
Shoals gage reading is over 17 feet.  Private levees may be
overtopped in many cases.

was 18.1 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Most of the low bottomlands flood.
Flooding begins in higher bottomlands. High water affects any
residents in Pottsville river cabins. Pottsville Road...North C
Street on river side of railroad tracks and Catt Street near U.S.
Highway 41 are flooded. Water is near or starting on Giro Road in
the vicinity of submerged Pottsville Road. Oil stripped fields
flood. Flood gates must be installed at Hazleton.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Tuesday morning and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.

Patoka River near Princeton affecting Gibson County.

.Very heavy rainfall across the Patoka River basin has resulted in
flooding developing at Princeton. The most recent forecast has a
secondary crest into moderate flood levels, peaking at 20.4 feet on
Thursday. Additional fluctuations are possible depending how much
more rain falls over the next 12 to 18 hours.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton.

* WHEN...Until Monday, July 06.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flooding affects mainly farmland. Seasonal
camping trailers closest to the river become inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.8 feet.
