...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

East Fork White River near Rivervale.

White River at Newberry.

White River at Elliston.

White River at Hazleton.

White River at Petersburg.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...

White River at Spencer.

White River at Edwardsport.

.Main stem rivers in central and southern Indiana continue to flood
as a result of rainfall of 2 to 4 plus inches that fell last week.
All of the central Indiana portion of the Wabash river remains in
flood. Flooding along the White River remains from Spencer to points
downstream. Along the East Fork White River, flooding remains near
Rivervale.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Spencer.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Flooding begins of Owen County Fairgrounds
and Cooper Park on south side of Spencer.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 18.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM EDT Tuesday was 19.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

Information:
Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.

agricultural flooding is in progress.

- At 2:40 PM EDT Monday the stage was 25.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:40 PM EDT Monday was 25.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Thursday evening and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Extensive agricultural flooding is in
progress.  Some state and county roads flood.  County Road 600 W
just north of river flooded by possibly more than two feet of
water for a considerable distance in Mary Long Cutoff Area.
County Roads 900 W and 750 S begin to flood in Greene County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 18.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM EDT Tuesday was 19.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.9
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
