...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM FRIDAY TO 4 AM EDT SATURDAY... ...LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM FRIDAY TO 4 AM EDT SATURDAY... ...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

* WHAT...West winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts up to 50 knots and
waves 3 to 6 feet expected. For the Low Water Advisory,
abnormally low water levels expected.

* WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Maumee Bay to
Vermilion OH.

* WHEN...From 8 AM Friday to 4 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Below normal
water levels will result in hazardous navigating conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong west to southwest winds will cause
water levels across the western basin to fall 1 to 2 feet
below low water datum. The critical mark for safe navigation
is currently 6 inches below low water datum.

Information:
Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for hazardous conditions.

Mariners should navigate shallow waters with extreme caution due
to below normal water levels.
