...A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS TO MOVE ACROSS THE PIONEER VALLEY...

At 709 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of several
thunderstorms over the Berkshires. The strongest thunderstorm was
located over Worthington, or 14 miles east of Pittsfield. These
storms were moving northeast at 65 mph.

Occasional lightning, brief downpours and wind gusts up to 30 mph
will accompany these storms. Small hail up to pea size is possible
as well.

Locations impacted include...
Amherst, Northampton, Greenfield, Orange, Deerfield, Athol, Montague,
Hadley, Sunderland, Hatfield, Northfield, Williamsburg, Huntington,
Bernardston, Buckland, Conway, Shelburne, Leverett, Erving and
Shutesbury.

Information:
Get indoors when this storm approaches. Winds may be strong enough to
produce minor damage, such as a few downed tree branches.

Boylston, or near Shrewsbury, moving northeast at 45 mph.

Occasional lightning, brief heavy rain and winds up to 30 mph will
accompany this storm. Small hail up to pea-size is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Worcester, Newton, Framingham, Waltham, Billerica, Marlborough,
Shrewsbury, Natick, Watertown, Lexington, Belmont, Westford, Acton,
Hudson, Westborough, Grafton, Concord, Sudbury, Holden and Ashland.

Harvard, or 9 miles east of Leominster, moving northeast at 50 mph.

Penny size hail will accompany this storm.

Lowell, Lynn, Lawrence, Framingham, Haverhill, Waltham, Peabody,
Methuen, Salem, Leominster, Fitchburg, Billerica, Beverly,
Marlborough, Woburn, Chelmsford, Andover, Lexington, Dracut and
Tewksbury.

Information:
Frequent lightning was occurring. Lightning can strike far away from
the storm. Go inside a building or vehicle. Wait at least 30 minutes
until after the storm has passed to resume outdoor activities.

winds in excess of 30 mph will accompany this storm.

Templeton, Northfield, Bernardston, Buckland, Conway, Shelburne,
Erving, Ashfield, Phillipston, Colrain, Gill, Charlemont and
