...STRONG THUNDERSTORM... At 823 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Hampton, or near Windham, moving northeast at 50 mph. Occasional lightning, brief heavy rain and winds up to 30 mph will accompany this storm. Small hail up to penny size is possible. Locations impacted include... Providence, Pawtucket, Woonsocket, Cumberland, North Providence, Johnston, Mansfield, Windham, Plainfield, Smithfield, Lincoln, Central Falls, Willimantic, Killingly, Bellingham, Burrillville, Uxbridge, Coventry, North Smithfield and Scituate.
