Portage River near Vicksburg affecting Kalamazoo County. .Water levels are slowly falling across the Grand River and Portage River basins, but additional rounds of rain over the next 3 days will get water levels rising again, and renewed flooding is expected. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Portage River near Vicksburg. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 5.0 feet, Expect overflows into wooded areas, yards, a few outbuildings, and farmland adjacent to the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 5.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon and continue rising to 5.0 feet this afternoon.
