...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN FULTON...MISSISSIPPI... NEW MADRID AND SOUTHEASTERN STODDARD COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT... At 1100 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Bertrand to near Risco. Movement was southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Charleston, Portageville, East Prairie, New Madrid, Hickman, Lilbourn, Towosahgy State Historic Site, Big Oak Tree State Park, Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site, Malden, Clarkton, Gideon, Bertrand, Parma, Matthews, Marston, Howardville, Risco, Canalou, and Anniston. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 in Missouri between Mile Markers 3 and 10. Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 33 and 65.
