Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong monsoon pattern continues to produce hazardous surf and a high risk of rip currents along west-facing reefs through Thursday afternoon. The High Surf Advisory and High Rip Current Risk may be extended again, potentially increasing back up to hazardous levels along north-facing reefs, as the monsoon pattern and associated west to northwest swells continue into next week.
