...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON MDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Periods of wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to
4 inches above 6500 feet, with localized amounts in excess of 8
inches near highest peaks.

* WHERE...Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on cold and wet backcountry conditions with a
heightened hypothermia risk for those not properly dressed. Wet
snow may down trees and block access to forest roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Campers should be aware that it only takes a
few inches of snow to damage tents and other recreational items.
