...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern, central, and west central New Mexico.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Slow-moving showers and thunderstorms will be capable of
producing rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches per hour Tuesday
afternoon and evening. The greatest risk for flash flooding will
occur areas that have received recent heavy rainfall, urban
drainages, and around wildfire burn scars.
