Details:
...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO NOON EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations of a few
hundredths up to three tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut, western
Massachusetts, eastern New York, and southern Vermont.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to noon EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning
commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The greatest accumulations of ice will fall
at the higher terrain regions of the Southern Adirondacks, Eastern
Catskills, Southern Greens, Taconics, and Berkshires. A cooler
trend with this system has reduced ice accumulations within the
Mohawk Valley, Capital District, and Upper Hudson Valley. In these
areas, the potential for freezing rain still exists, but for a
shorter duration of time. Sleet now looks to be the primary wintry
precipitation type in these areas overnight. This will still make
for slick conditions particularly for the early morning commute
tomorrow morning.

Information:
Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
