* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 456 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles north of
Orion, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Fairview, Helena, Carmen, Cleo Springs, Aline, and Orienta.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN ALFALFA AND WESTERN GRANT COUNTIES...

At 448 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Jet, moving
east at 40 mph. This storm is capable of producing ping pong ball
size hail. Another severe storm was located 5 miles northeast of
Wakita capable of producing quarter size hail.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Medford, Helena, Pond Creek, Wakita, Jet, Nash, Jefferson, and Great
Salt Plains Lake.

Information:
A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Oklahoma, including the following
counties, Alfalfa, Major, Woods and Woodward.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 323 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Alva, Cherokee, Mooreland, Waynoka, Burlington, Sharon,
Dacoma, Amorita, Byron, Avard, Quinlan, Ingersoll, Driftwood
and Hopeton.
