...The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island... Nashua River At East Pepperell affecting Middlesex and Worcester Counties Pawtuxet River At Cranston affecting Kent and Providence Counties Pawcatuck River At Wood River Junction affecting Washington County Taunton River Near Bridgewater affecting Bristol and Plymouth Counties Wood River At Hope Valley affecting Washington County Heavy rainfall and snowmelt will result in rises on rivers, with minor flooding expected along several rivers, mainly in eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Crests are expected to occur beginning later this afternoon and into Sunday. The Flood Watch continues for The Pawtuxet River At Cranston * until Sunday afternoon. * At 9:45 AM Saturday the stage was 8.3 feet. * Minor flooding is possible. * Flood stage is 9.0 feet. * Forecast...Flood stage may be reached by this afternoon. * Impact...At 9.5 feet...Parking lots and roads are flooded in low lying areas of Warwick and Cranston near the Pawtuxet River. Impacted roads include River Street, Pioneer Avenue, Bellows Street and Venturi Avenue in Warwick.
