...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS MORNING FOR NORTHWESTERN EDWARDS AND NORTHEASTERN VAL VERDE COUNTIES... At 431 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Heavy rain has subsided for the time being, but additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Loma Alta, Vinegarone and Devils River State Nat Area Del Norte. This includes the following streams and drainages... Buckley Draw, South Llano River, Dolan Creek, Cow Creek, Red Bluff Creek, Jack Creek, Devils River, Dry Devils River, Middle Dolan Creek, West Dolan Creek and Mailtrail Creek.

Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Storms moving from Mexico into southern Val Verde County near Del Rio will bring additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
