Severe turbulence near the mountains will be hazardous for low flying light aircraft.
Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive. Use caution if flying low near the mountains as severe turbulence is possible.
