...TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM CDT FOR EAST CENTRAL LANGLADE AND NORTHERN OCONTO COUNTIES...

At 1002 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles southwest of Carter, or 19 miles southeast of
Crandon, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include Freeman and Boot Lake
Campground.

Information:
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.

At 945 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 9
miles east of North Otter Creek Natural Area to over Pearson, or
along a line from 14 miles east of Crandon to 15 miles south of
Crandon, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

This severe thunderstorm will be near...
Ma Ka Ja Wan Scout Reservation and Pearson around 950 AM CDT.
McCaslin Mountain Natural Area around 1005 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Freeman,
Pickerel, Choate, Lily, Lawrence Lake Natural Area, Hollister,
Townsend, Boot Lake Campground, Lakewood and Langlade.
