...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM AKDT TUESDAY... * WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches possible southeast of Tok, with 8 to 12 inches possible from Tok northwest. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Upper Tanana Valley. * WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Between 3 and 6 inches of snow will be possible in the Upper Tanana Valley southeast of Tok. In these areas, some wet or melting snow will be possible during the afternoons and evenings. The highest snow totals will likely be along and near the Alaska Highway from southeast of Delta Junction to Tok, where snow amounts could locally exceed a foot.
