...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM AKDT SATURDAY... * WHAT...Snow and blowing snow. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches at or above pass level. Wind gusts up to 30 mph. Periods of blowing and falling snow could reduce visibility to 1/2 mile or less at times. Pockets of wintry mix possible. * WHERE...Central Brooks Range, primarily Atigun Pass. * WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels have risen above 4000 feet as of Friday afternoon. Snow levels will fall once more towards 2000 feet Friday night. What snow does fall is expected to be wet and have difficulty blowing. Blowing snow is most likely above 4000 feet near the top of Atigun Pass.
