...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON TO MONDAY EVENING...

...The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

Trinity River At Dallas affecting Dallas County.

Trinity River Near Rosser affecting Kaufman and Ellis Counties.

For the Trinity River...including Dallas, Rosser, Trinidad, Long Lake
(Oakwood)...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River at Dallas.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Minor flooding is expected along the river.
Bike trails along the river will experience significant flooding,
and the Trammel Crow Park parking lot below the Sylvan bridge will
have floodwaters several feet deep.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 29.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 30.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.3 feet
late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 34.3
feet on 03/31/2002.

Information:
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.Turn around, don't drown when encountering
flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
