...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHERN EDWARDS, SOUTHWESTERN WABASH, NORTHEASTERN WHITE, SOUTHWESTERN GIBSON, NORTHERN POSEY AND NORTHWESTERN VANDERBURGH COUNTIES...

At 951 AM CDT, The heaviest rainfall has ended for at least a few
hours. Radar and rain gauges estimate two day totals of 4 to 6
inches across the warned area. Spotters have already reported flash
flooding in the area and the water will likely be slow to recede.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and Storm Spotters.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Evansville, Carmi, Fort Branch, Grayville, Haubstadt, Owensville,
Poseyville, New Harmony, Crossville, Cynthiana, Griffin and
Phillipstown.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
