...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Missouri...

Mississippi River near Herculaneum.

Mississippi River at Mel Price LD.

Mississippi River at Chester.

Mississippi River at Grafton.

Mississippi River at Alton.

Mississippi River at St. Louis.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River near Herculaneum.

* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 28.3 feet, Near this height, the walking trail
(extension of Station Road) at Bates Memorial Park begins flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.7 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 27.6 feet early Friday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
