...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Missouri...

Mississippi River at Thebes affecting Alexander and Scott
Counties.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...Missouri...

Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau affecting Perry, Scott, Cape
Girardeau, Alexander, Union and Jackson Counties.

For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau, Thebes,
Hickman, New Madrid...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Thebes.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, The town of Thebes begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 32.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 34.5 feet early Sunday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 33.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
