...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING...

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...

Wabash River at Riverton, Terre Haute, Hutsonville Legacy Power
Plant Site, and Montezuma.

.Multiple rounds of rainfall over the past week, totaling at least 2
to 4 inches, has lead to minor lowland flooding along the middle to
lower Wabash River. The Wabash will continue to crest at Terre Haute
this weekend, with the crest reaching Riverton on Tuesday.  Flooding
will end at Montezuma Monday and at Riverton by the middle of the
week.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Seep water occurs behind levees on Indiana
side.  Hutson Creek begins to overflow from backwater.  Old Darwin
Road and a few rural roads in eastern Clark and Crawford counties
in Illinois are impassable.  Low agricultural land floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.6
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
