...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY THURSDAY MORNING...

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...Indiana...

Wabash River at New Harmony affecting Posey, White, Wabash,
Gibson and Gallatin Counties.

.Recent heavy rainfall has lead to rising levels along the Wabash
River. Minor flooding continues at New Harmony, with a
projected crest of 16.6 feet forecast Sunday night.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at New Harmony.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, The river overflows low ground on the
Illinois side.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 15.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM CDT Saturday was 15.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.6
feet early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage Wednesday evening.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
