Mississippi River at Winfield.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Canton.

* WHEN...From Thursday evening to late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Both banks begin to overflow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 12.1 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
Thursday evening to a crest of 15.1 feet early Friday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
