Missouri...Illinois...

Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau affecting Alexander, Cape
Girardeau, Scott, Union, Jackson and Perry Counties.

Mississippi River at Thebes affecting Alexander and Scott
Counties.

For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau, Thebes,
Hickman, New Madrid...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Thebes.

* WHEN...From Friday morning to Wednesday, May 06.

* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, The town of Thebes begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 29.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Friday morning to a crest of 35.8 feet early Sunday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
