Details:
...TROPICAL DEPRESSION 06W (JANGMI) WILL BRING HEAVY DOWNPOURS...GUSTY WINDS...AND CHOPPY SEAS THE NEXT FEW DAYS...

A tropical disturbance, formerly known as JTWC's Invest 99W has been
upgraded to a Tropical Depression 06W (Jangmi), and is currently
centered near 9.9N 137.3E, about 61 miles west-northwest of Yap
Proper. Jangmi is expected to continue consolidating over the next
few days as it moves further north-northwest into the Philippine
Sea. Numerous to widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms are
seen along the southern, western, and northern peripheries of Jangmi.
Heavy rainfall and gusty winds are expected across much of Palau and
western Yap State, including Yap Proper this week.

As Jangmi lifts northward this week, the developing monsoon tail
will continue to intensify along the south side. Westerly to
southwesterly winds of 20 to 30 kt with gusts peaking near 40 kt are
expected. This will cause seas hazardous to small craft and
hazardous surf. A large band of heavy showers are occurring over
Palau along the surge in monsoon inflow/tail. For Yap, deepening
convection is expected to continue building in and across the area
as Jangmi gradually consolidates nearby. Seas of 8 to 12 feet are
expected through Friday morning.
