Verdigris River near Lenapah affecting Nowata County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Verdigris River near Lenapah. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, serious agricultural flooding occurs between the Kansas border and headwaters of Lake Oologah. State Highway 10 is impassable at a point 5 miles east of Lenapah. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 34.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is cresting at 34.52 feet and is expected to fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 30.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
