...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM SUNDAY TO 7 AM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
between 1 and 2 feet. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of eastern, northeastern, and southeastern
Massachusetts and northern and southern Rhode Island. This
includes Boston to Providence corridor.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Sunday to 7 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs
may down power lines and could cause power outages. Whiteout
conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and
potentially life-threatening. Travel could be very difficult to
impossible. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday
morning and evening commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage.

Information:
Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with
your vehicle.

* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level
possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways (3.5 to 12.9 feet Mean Lower Low Water).

* WHERE...Eastern Essex MA, Suffolk MA, Eastern Norfolk MA,
Eastern Plymouth MA, Barnstable MA, Dukes MA and Nantucket MA
Counties.

* WHEN...From early Monday morning through late Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Roads may become impassable. Low lying areas and
roads near Nantucket Harbor, including Easy Street, may
experience pockets of shallow flooding less than one foot deep.

Information:
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level
expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
waterways (11.3 to 13.2 feet Mean Lower Low Water).

* WHERE...Eastern Essex, Suffolk and Eastern Norfolk Counties.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Shallow pockets of flooding less than one foot deep
affects the lowest lying areas along the coast, including
Morrissey Boulevard in Boston. Most roads remain passable.
Flooding up to one foot deep affects coastal roads on the
North Shore from Salem to Gloucester and Newburyport. Rough
surf will cause flooding on some coastal roads around the time
of high tide due to splashover.

Information:
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
