...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM EDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values in the mid 90s to low 100s expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine
and central, northern, and southern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...From 11 AM to 8 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low temperatures in the 70s south of the
mountains will cause heat stress to accumulate overnight Tuesday,
ahead of another hot day Wednesday.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
