...HEAT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM MDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 93 expected.

* WHERE...Northern Phillips, Northern Valley, Southwest Phillips, and
Western Roosevelt Counties.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

Information:
Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Montana, including the following
areas, Central and Southeast Phillips, Petroleum and Southwest
Phillips.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through late Tuesday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms will be moving east into the Watch area, with the
potential of heavy downpours that would bring flooding.
