...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.
Winds shift to westerly this evening and remain strong with gusts
up to 45 mph.

* WHERE...Madison, Northern Oneida, Onondaga, Schuyler, Seneca,
Southern Cayuga, Southern Oneida, Steuben, and Yates Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southerly winds will remain strong through
the afternoon then experience a brief lull as a cold front moves
through the region early this evening. Winds will become strong
from the west again this evening before diminishing slightly
overnight.

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
