Details:
...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM CHST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and
seas 7 to 9 feet expected.

* WHERE...Guam and Rota Coastal Waters.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 5 PM ChST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds and seas will continue to increase
from north to south across the Marianas as a southward-moving
shear line gradually sweeps the area. Winds are expected to
increase to around 22 knots tonight as combined seas build,
generating elevated, choppy sea conditions hazardous to small
craft. After a brief lull in hazardous conditions Tuesday, seas
and winds will rapidly increase Tuesday night as a significant
trade-wind surge builds behind the shear line, reinforcing the
north-northeast swell and wind waves. Combined seas may reach 15
feet over eastern portions of Guam and Rota waters by Wednesday
evening as winds become fresh to strong, with frequent near-
gale to gale-force gusts possible. Seas and winds will begin to
relax by the end of the week, after a peak in hazardous
conditions around Wednesday. However, as seas remain elevated, a
Small Craft Advisory may need to be maintained into the
weekend.

Information:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid boating in hazardous conditions.
