...STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 55 kt and
seas 6 to 9 feet expected on the LI Sound and Peconic and
Gardiners Bays. Isolated gusts up to 60 kt are possible late
tonight into early Monday morning.

* WHERE...Long Island Sound east of Port Jefferson and New
Haven, Peconic and Gardiners Bays, and South Shore Bays from
Jones Inlet through Shinnecock Bay.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 6 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Storm force winds and hazardous seas will capsize or
damage vessels and reduce visibility.

Information:
Mariners should remain in port, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
